Business Development Director

Enhance our business and grow our client base.

Description
The Business Development Director (BDD) will primarily serve as the first point of contact between eKeeper and potential new clients across Central Indiana. The BDD will thus be responsible for the growth of the eKeeper client base in Central Indiana with a focus on Delaware County and the directly surrounding counties. In addition, the BDD will be extensively involved in the communities we serve in support of the eKeeper ‘Our Community First’ philanthropic mission. This will entail becoming involved with the Chamber of Commerce organizations in our areas of coverage as well as involvement in networking groups, charity events and other service/support groups that fit within the mission of ‘Our Community First’. The BDD will also be involved in the enhancement and delivery of eKeeper materials to clients during critical periods such as onboarding, offboarding and regular client maintenance.

Objectives

Business Development
• Become a subject matter expert on the distinct service offerings of eKeeper Systems
• Build an implicit understanding of what separates eKeeper from competitors
• Extend our client base within our defined vertical markets
• Find and develop new markets
• Work with the executive team on new marketing and community involvement opportunities
• Ensure that eKeeper is always top-of-mind in the communities we serve

Community Involvement & Networking
• Chamber Of Commerce organizations
• Rotary
• BNI, First Muncie, etc.
• Charity Events (Soup Crawl, Rialzo, Muncie Mission events, etc.)
• Service to our non-profit clients as applicable

Existing Client Interaction
• Enhancement of eKeeper client materials
• Review of Quarterly Preventative Maintenance Reports with the Technical Services Manager
• Delivery of Preventative Maintenance Reports to clients
• Solicit client testimonials and case studies
• Identify additional areas of opportunity for eKeeper with existing clients
• Identify ways in which eKeeper can build stronger relationships with our clients, prospects, communities and organizations we serve and support

Knowledge & Skills
• Possesses a strong understanding of successfully building interpersonal relationships
• Possesses a desire to champion the eKeeper mission and philanthropic statements
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and handle uncertain situations successfully
• Desire to help eKeeper succeed based on unparalleled excellence
• Proficient knowledge of computers, information technology and consulting practices

Education & Experience

Required
o Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
o Prior sales & marketing experience
o Prior networking experience
o Familiarity with and experience in East Central Indiana

Preferred
o Prior experience with sales and marketing in the information technology industry
o Formal sales training (Sandler, etc.)
o A demonstrated understanding of eKeeper, our markets and the communities we serve

System Analyst II

  • Ability to work well and maintain good working relationships our with our customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; preferably in Computer Science or related field.
  • Five or more years of hands-on IT experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills that lead to effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Current Microsoft certifications are required. Previous Microsoft certifications will be considered as well as long as the candidate can be ready to gain current Microsoft certifications within one year of employment.
  • Cisco CCNA certification required within one year.
  • Ability to obtain new certifications annually.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Able to travel to client sites as necessary within a sixty (60) mile radius of our office in Yorktown, IN.
  • Self-driven and self-disciplined with a “get it done” attitude.
  • Desire to excel in a client-service and results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage and complete system projects with minimal downtime.
  • Strong sense of ownership for projects and tasks.
  • Detail-oriented.
